Set Recording

1. In this tutorial you will learn how to record phone call conversations on this call tracking platform. Every tracking telephone number on this platform has the capability to record a phone call conversation. Please note that some states in the US require that the calling party be informed that their conversations are being recorded. Before you utilize the call recording feature of this platform, it your responsibility as a user of this platform to determine if you are required by your governing state law to inform the caller that the conversation will be recorded. Additionally, if you are based in the European Union, it is your responsibility as a user of this platform to comply with GDPR regulations concerning protecting and safeguarding a caller’s privacy and personally identifiable information that may be shared by the calling party with you or your representatives during a phone conversation.

To get started with enabling the call recording feature on this platform, login to your account as an Administrator of the Account.

2. After logging into your account, navigate to the left menu bar and find the Numbers link which is under the Manage section. Click the “Numbers” link from the left menu bar.

3. Click on the blue gear icon to open the number settings.

4. When the number settings menu is displayed, click the “Actions” tab.

5. Slide the recording button switch to the right to enable the recording of phone call conversations.

6. Click the “Save Settings” button to save your setting.

7. Click the “OK” button to reconfirm your settings.

8. Click “OK” again to move to the next step.

9. If you do not have any other settings to modify on the tracking telephone number, you may click the Cancel button to exit the number settings screen.
