How To Change And Cancel Your Subscription Package in AvidTrak
1. This tutorial covers how an AvidTrak User may upgrade or downgrade their package subscription. You will also learn how you may cancel your AvidTrak subscription and how to setup the auto recharge function in your account. We will also cover how you may add funds to your account using your credit cards or PayPal. Please note that you are required to use your credit card the first time that you become a subscriber. You may use PayPal to manually add funds to your account, only after you have become a paid subscriber. We recommend that you always maintain a valid credit card in your account with the auto recharge function enabled, even if you plan on your using PayPal to manually fund your account every month.
2. To get started login to your AvidTrak account.
3. From the left menu bar click the “Subscription” link.
4. Under the Manage Cards & Subscription heading you will find a tile that captures all the relevant details of your subscription such as: The type of subscription package and the respective the start and renewal dates of the package. Below the package subscription tile, you will see the credit cards that you have already setup in your account. You may remove an existing credit card on file simply by clicking the red trash icon located adjacent to your credit card.
5. If you wish to change your subscription package, click the “Change Subscription” button.
6. In the popup screen that opens, you will be rendered the two available types of subscription packages that AvidTrak offers: Starter and Professional.
7. If you are currently utilizing the Professional Package, and wish to downgrade to the Starter package, click the Downgrade button at the bottom of the screen and then click the OK button to confirm your Downgrade selection.
Please note that your package downgrade will not happen immediately and will take effect on your next package renewal date. You will also receive an email advisory from AvidTrak informing you on when your package will be downgraded. Conversely, if you are currently on a Starter package and wish to upgrade, your package upgrade will take effect immediately, and any unused credits from your Starter package will be transferred to your Professional package. You will also receive an email advisory from AvidTrak informing you of your package upgrade with respective start and renewal dates. At the time of the package upgrade, the cost of the package upgrade will be collected from the credit balance in your account.
8. If you do not wish to upgrade or downgrade your package simply click the Cancel button.
9. Click the X icon on the upper right corner of the screen to close the package selection screen.
10. If for any reason you wish to cancel your subscription, click the Cancel subscription button.
11. Click the OK button to reconfirm your intent to cancel your subscription. Your package cancelation will take into effect on the next package renewal date. You will also receive an email advisory from AvidTrak informing you the date when your package will be canceled.
12. Click the “OK” button again to advance to the next step.
13. If you decide to reactivate your subscription before the subscription cancelation date, simply click the “Reactivate Subscription” button.
14. Click the “OK” button to confirm your selection.
15. Click the “OK” button again to advance to the next step. Please note that when your package subscription is reactivated, you will receive an email advisory from AvidTrak advising you of the package reactivation with respective, start and renewal dates of the package.
16. The Auto Recharge Field allows a User to maintain a minimum credit balance in the account. In the example shown here, the minimum account credit balance is set to $75 with top up to $85. This means that when the account balance drops below $75, the credit card on file will be charged a minimum of $10 to top up the account credit balance to $85. We recommend that at a minimum the account credit balance in your account should be $20 or more.
17. To save your minimum and maximum settings, click the “Save Auto Recharge Settings” button.
18. Click the “OK” button to confirm your settings.
19. Click the “OK” button to advance to the next step.
20. If you prefer to add funds manually to your account, click the Add Funds (manual) button. Pro Tip: We recommend that you maintain the Auto Recharge feature enabled even if you periodically manually add funds to your account.
21. After your add your desired figure in the Add Funds manual field, which in this example is $20.00, click the “Pay” button to execute the transaction.
22. AvidTrak also supports payments via PayPal. Please note that we do not support PayPal auto recharge, but an AvidTrak User may deposit a lump sum amount using PayPal.
23. In the PayPal field, enter the desired figure in the Amount field followed by a click on the PayPal button. You will be navigated to PayPal where you will need to enter your credit card details or PayPal account information. Complete the PayPal transaction as per your usual business practice.
24. AvidTrak encourages and supports the use of multiple credit cards for each User’s account. Adding more than one credit card to your account allows a User the peace of mind that their account will not be deactivated if there is a payment denial issue with one of their credit cards. To add a credit card to your account, click the “Add Credit Card” button.
25. In the credit card form that is rendered, the User must enter all the necessary information that is required by the credit card processor to validate and accept the card. We use trusted 3rd party credit card processors such as Authorize Dot Net, a VISA company to store a user’s credit card.
26. Click the Save button at the bottom of the form to save your credit card.
27. This completes the tutorial on how to change and cancel your subscription.
