How to Set Up Auto Recharge and Recurring Payments in AvidTrak
1. This tutorial will guide you through the process of setting up auto recharge and recurring payments in AvidTrak, ensuring that you receive uninterrupted service of your platform. By following the outlined steps, users can easily manage their subscription payments and avoid unexpected service disruptions if your account inadvertently becomes delinquent. We recommend all Users of AvidTrak to enable the Auto Recharge and Recurring Payments feature in AvidTrak.
2. Login to your AvidTrak account and navigate to the left menu bar. Click the “Subscription” link.
3. If you do not have a credit card on file, you will need to add one to enable the auto recharge function. To add a card, click the “Add Credit Card” button. Please note that AvidTrak does not save your credit card information. We utilize the services of Authorize.net to act as our credit card processor.
4. In the Credit card field enter your card number, expiration date and 3 digit card code.
5. Complete the billing address field. Please ensure that your billing address matches the billing address on file with your credit card issuer.
6. After you have completed entering the required information in the credit card field, click the Save button. After you have successfully saved your first credit card, we encourage you to add a backup credit card if there is an issue with your primary credit card. Please repeat the credit card add steps outlined earlier to add your back up credit card.
7. After completing the steps for adding the credit card, navigate to the Auto Recharge field. The Auto Recharge Field allows a User to maintain a minimum credit balance in the account. In the example shown here, the minimum account credit balance is set to $75 with the top up amount set to $85. This means that when the account balance drops below $75, the credit card on file will be charged a minimum of $10 to top up the account credit balance to $85. We recommend that at a minimum the account credit balance in your account should be $20 or more.
8. Click the “Save Auto Recharge Settings” button to save your auto recharge trigger limits.
9. Click the “OK” button to confirm your trigger settings.
10. Click the “OK” button again to advance to the next step.
